EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROGRAM – TUESDAY, APRIL 25

ITS America Events is proud to announce the Emergency Response (ER) Program, taking place on Tuesday, April 25 at ITS America Conference & Expo 2023. This year’s ER Program will focus on the ongoing needs and challenges that emergency responders face on our roadways and honors the response community by educating the ITS industry on the technologies that can save lives and keep the transportation system moving in a safe and efficient manner. The Emergency Response Program’s crucial mission is to increase the personal safety of responders and motorists while restoring mobility for emergency, commercial, and personal traffic incidents.

Emergency Response programming includes:

If you are an Emergency Responder, you’re eligible for complimentary access to the event. An Emergency Responder is defined as an employee who is necessary for the provision of transport, care, health care, comfort, and nutrition of patients, including, but not limited to, law enforcement officers, correctional institution personnel, fire fighters, emergency medical services personnel, physicians, nurses, public health personnel, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, emergency management personnel, 911 operators, child welfare workers and service providers, public works personnel, and persons with skills or training in operating specialized equipment or the skills needed to provide aid in a declared emergency and well as personnel who work for such facilities employing these individuals and whose work is necessary to maintain the operations of the facility.
