NORWALK, CT – ITS America Events, organized in partnership with RX and ITS America (ITSA), announced a new name for its annual event, now the ITS America Conference & Expo.
Formerly known as the ITS America Annual Meeting, the new name reflects the fact that this annual event is so much more than an annual “meeting”, making it clear that for decades this conference is where the ITS industry convenes, shares ideas, discusses best practices, hears from thought leaders, and experiences technology in action. The new name, ITS America Conference & Expo, now fully encompasses the event including technical panel sessions to high-level policy discussions, inspiring plenaries, real-time demonstrations, and an exhibit floor showcasing new technologies with opportunities to network and partner to grow the industry towards a safer, greener, smarter future for all.
“We felt it was time for the Annual Meeting’s name to evolve to reflect what it truly is: a place for innovators in our industry to unite and scale solutions,” said Laura Chace, President & CEO, ITS America. “As the ITS industry continues to grow, it is important for the name of the event to reflect the work we do at this conference. Through our partnership with RX, we will continue to grow ITS America Conference & Expo to meet the needs of the industry to scale innovation.”
The next ITS America Conference & Expo will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center April 24-27 (exhibits begin on April 25). The theme will be “Implementing Innovation for All”. This theme was developed after the 2022 World Congress in LA where practitioners enthusiastically voiced the need for a focus on helping the industry implement innovative solutions to benefit communities. The program will include several key tracks on a variety of ITS technologies including autonomous vehicles, connected vehicles, digital infrastructure, emerging technologies like air mobility, mobility on demand, and equitable transportation, and sustainability and resiliency technology.
