ITS World Congress 2022 Announces Demonstrations, Tech Tours, and Interactive Activations

Premier Intelligent Transportation Expo to Feature Remote Driving Tech, Safety Cloud Digital Alerts, and Forward-Looking Technologies

LOS ANGELES – ITS America Events today announced the full technical tour lineup, confirmed demonstrations, the 11th annual Emergency Response Day, and an exciting display of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (U.S. DOT) Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) Program Showcase. The premier global intelligent transportation systems (ITS) conference and exhibition hosted in partnership with ITS America, ITS Asia-Pacific, and ERTICO – ITS Europe, and produced by RX Global, will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) from September 18-22, 2022 (Conference: September 18-22 | Exhibit Hall: September 19-22).

This year’s demonstrations will offer a live, first-hand opportunity to experience and learn about the latest innovations and future mobility possibilities. Demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the exhibit hall days from Monday, September 19 – Thursday, September 22, outside the West Lobby of the LACC at Gilbert Lindsay Plaza.

U.S. DOT CDA Program Showcase:

ITS America is excited to highlight the U.S. DOT’s CDA Program CARMA at this year’s ITSWC 2022. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) developed this initiative to cultivate further CDA research and development. Throughout the week, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in sessions and interactive demos addressing topics such as Advancing CDA Research through Simulation, Connected Infrastructure Using CAVe-in-a-Box, Connected Driving Automation, and Developing Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) Algorithms using Simulation. Emergency Response Day returns to ITS World Congress this year on Tuesday, September 20.
